Our Public Art Challenge was designed to support temporary projects that celebrate creativity, enhance urban identity, encourage public-private partnerships, and strengthen local economies. Out of 237 submissions, four winning projects were announced in June 2015.
This weekend, the final Public Art Challenge project opens. Gary, Indiana’s Arthouse: A Social Kitchen is using light art to help transform an underutilized downtown building into a cultural hub to showcase visual and culinary arts.
