Bloomberg’s Latest Effort

Per a tipster: “Michael Bloomberg announced that 14 U.S. cities are in the running to receive up to $1 million each in funding for temporary public art projects that address civic issues as part of the 2018 Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge, which aims to foster creative collaboration, address civic issues, and support local economies through public art. The finalists were selected from more than 200 proposals received from cities across the country that address social themes such as community development, environmental sustainability, cultural identity and more.”
